color matched bug deflector
Does anyone know where I could buy a color matched bug deflector. I've bought to smoke ones but after a couple of years the start to look bad. Any help would be appreciated.

You might try Campways. They just opened a new store up in Santa Rosa. If they have to order it, you'll probably be able to order it yourself and eliminate the middleman. A search on "campways" will lead you to their web site.
I found the appearance of the old bug deflectors can be improved with Armor All or a like product.

I'm assuming your truck is white, as is mine. I went to order a color amtched BS for mine, but the guy advised against it. He said that they do not match the white well enough. Other colors are fine. If a BS is a must, you can order clear and paint the back side only, or use the smoke and paint the entire BS.

Thanks for all of the helpful hints. I think the firstr thing I will try is to paint the existing smoke bug shield on both sides and see what happens. The only bad thing in my area is all of the gravel trucks always throwing up rocks. Its hard to keep anything chip free for long.
