Kicking around ordering a 2020 3/4 ton since I missed the 19’ order window. With the wobble that still appears to be prevalent with the 4wds, a 2wd seems to be the safer route.
I’ve looked through the order guide & searched the forum, but can’t find any reference as to whether the 2020 2wds will be lowered, or if it’s only the 4wds. I can’t imagine they would further lower the 2wds. I would just order a 1-ton, but you’re forced to get the new 10 speed.
Does anyone have any solid information in that respect? Dealers don’t seem to know, no surprise there.
Are you sure? I read all 4x4s were and you would need to option Tremor package to get them back up.
That's the information that I saw on the 2020. But I've all seen that they're all getting lower. So it's hard to say what the final answer will be. Guess we'll know soon enough.

We have a 2019 F350 4x2 with 18” wheels, 275/65R18E A/S tires (relatively small, but the largest OEM tires available), and the Chrome Package, which includes 6” angular step bars.
It’s fairly low, and there are no spacer blocks in the suspension, so I don’t see it getting any lower without a design change. I have to run it up onto 2x10s in order to just be able to slide under to change the engine oil and filter. The F250 might be fractionally lower due to the thinner rear leaf spring packs.
The picture below is from when it was new and empty.
Yes they make them in 2wd. I am assuming that is a joke though.
I had one and it was sporty. 6.2/3.73
You need an abs disconnect if you want to go off road, even wet grass.

The issue is towing and loading stuff. Even after adjusting my GN hitch its a little nose high, not dangerous but you can feel it. We can’t customize it because this isnt the only truck in the world and that trailer will be around for a long time. Also loading stuff in the bed is difficult.
With the diesel 4x4 really is almost necessary because it will sink with all the weight its pushing around. I routinely use it in this truck and my previous diesels. I had a f150 4x4 3.5eco before this and never used 4x4. This is in Houston.
Anyway its cool the 17-19s were high up like a highboy. Made them unique. I plan to hold onto mine for a long time I really like the truck.

Not a joke, I seriously thought all Super Duties were 4wd. I've never seen one that wasn't or maybe that would explain some of the low looking ones I've seen. I wonder of all the SD's that roll off the line how many are 2wd.
This is our fifth pickup (including our 1986 Suburban C10), our fourth Ford (including a 97 F150 SC), and our third SD; all have been 2WD. The first three had LS diffs, the 2017 and 19 F350s had EL diffs. All five have been gassers.
We eventually put Bridgestone Revo AT tires on the 2000 F250 to accommodate occasional (very) mild off-road exercises, such as this one at the Ames Monument near Laramie, Wyoming, in December, 2009:
Local markets affect demand. When we sold our 2017 F350 2WD last year, the CarMax in Greenville, SC offered us $4K more than the local Ford dealer from which we ordered our 2019 2WD.
The “low” SDs are typically either 2WD or XL 4WD with 17” wheels and tires.

Lots of 2 wd pickups in my area....yes SD trucks to.
My personal pickup is a 2 WD half ton, and several of my company pickups are also 2 WD.
Unless I really need a 4x4 I prefer the 2 WD ride and handling.

I have a 2wd F150 ecoboost and its my preferred choice unless I need the superduty crewcab 4x4.
