Probably silly questions but I am having a heck of a time trying to figure out where to plug in my nss.
The first picture is part of the wiring for the AC that i have since removed. It is the only square plug i have left in my engine bay but that doesnt make much sense since it appears to be part of the AC.
The second picture is the remaining plug i have on the firewall which is only a 3 plug unlike the third picture which is a 4 and is just like the one I removed from the truck.
Some wiring diagrams here https://www.fordification.net/tech/wiring.htm My 79 neutral switch comes up an plugs in sorta of center rear area of engine towards the heater motor side or as yours ac side as mine never had ac and its four wire plug,, I believe the other 3 wire plug would have run to something on the carb if it had the option possibly , from what I looked up on my 3 wire plug is not plugged in as well
Any idea where the three prong connector in the second pic goes?
If you look at those diagrams you can fin that plug an match wire colors, I believe it went for some option like throttle actuator,,carburetor valve control solenoid,, best I could trace down on the 79 on diagram 3 there is a picture of 3 prong plug with wires r-y , r-gr , bk that match the plug you reference
