Simple borg warner question
I have a 57 with a 302 and 3 speed Borg Warner T85n. I can shift from 2nd or 3rd into neutral when coming to a stop. When I shift from 1st into neutral it stalls.
Is this normal because 1st is not synchronized? Or is there a problem.

It's not normal, I owned a 1965 F100 with T-85N overdrive for 44 years, it never stalled.
