Anyways, I'm asking if anyone knows the part number for the Delco filter for the 5.0L V8 Explorer engine. (IT IS NOT THE PF2) My engine have the Metric thread. I'm using the Motorcraft right now ... but would like to switch to Delcos its more convenient to buy.

Delco filter is a PF 1250 Go to Walmart and buy a Supertech for cheaper. They are the same inside except from what I understand the Supertech is supposed to use a synthetic media. But if youcut them open they look the same. Both made by Champion Labs. Also very similar to STP and Bosch. The one thing to look for is the bypass valve. If you get a Supertech see if it has the spring type valve just below the threads like the Motorcraft. Check the AC/Delco as well for that matter.
