Swapping a 460
I am lookin at swapping in a 460 out of a lincoln into my 67 F100. getting rid of the stock 352. has any one out there done this if so are you happy with the results? i am lookin for more power and it is easyer to build a 460 then a 352 so im lookin.

if your truck is a 2 wheel drive the swap is as easy as finding a mid 70's 460 truck and getting the motor mounts. use the search function on this site to see tons of threads on this subject as thousands of people have done it and it has been discussed to the most minute detail. hawkrod

Thanks for the help. yes it is a 2wd. My dad bought it from one of my school teachers to build as a street rod but he lost interest in it so it sat. My brother got a 68 ranger with 68,000 miles on it so my dad gave him the 67 as a parts truck. since i am looking for a truck he gave me the 67 for help working on his truck.
