It is totally different as the gearbox shaft goes out through the frame for your F-600. You can get one from NAPA, or other stores. Or you can get a power steering gear from a later model.

Does anybody know if this is true or not. False!
There is no way, NONE that an F100/250/350 steering gear box would work in an F500/750, as the boxes are completely different.

C9TZ-3504-B (replaced C7TZ-3504-B) .. Manual Steering Gear Box / Obsolete

1967/70 F500/750 & 1971/72 F500/750 2WD with 5,000, 5,500, 6,000 & 7,000 lbs. capacity front axles.

No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any. Contact redheadsteeringgears.com in Seattle WA for a rebuilt.

Swapping in P/S will be a major undertaking, as most of the parts are obsolete. Where will you find them?

Call Red Head and ask. I know some other members with F500/750's have had their boxes rebuilt there.

Also, ask questions in the LARGE TRUCK forum, most members of this 1967/72 forum have pickups.
