I noticed all the off road delete kits have been removed from several of the top companies supposedly due to gov. regs wonder if local inspectors are next. I was just ready to do a truck better wait and see what is gonna happen.

im honestly not surprised that bigger name companies are shying away from the delete kits after the SCT/Bully dog issue. local tuners will still probably being doing delete kits.
that's sucks for the new diesels. I would not still own my truck if it had all the factory parts on it. It is a 2014 f250 w/6.7 4x4. The only powertrain issues I have had was the emissions. the 3rd time I had problems I decided to delete it. that was at 81,000mi I'm now at 166,000 and no further issues.
I'm not real happy about this for the power numbers it isn't very fast // not at all like my 7.3 which I still have might have to rethink about rebuilding that truck!

wonder if thats due to the torque being limited in the first 3 gears?

I have seen the State Inspectors Officers pull just inspected diesels over to see if they have the required emission equipment on and working. If not, and passed inspection, the station that "inspected" it is up the **** creek. A friend that runs a garage will not inspect ANYTHING that does not meet the legal requirements. Put it on the rack, no converter, off the rack and "sorry, can't help you unless you have the converter installed". Same goes for TUNERS. If it changes the emission equipment it don't get inspected.
