power brakes

Hey. I just bought me a 67 f100! I was wondering what the "junk yard recipe" would be to change this over to power brakes. Right now its four wheel drum and no power and it stinks! any help on this subject would be appreciated!!

any power brake unit from 65-79 will bolt on to your truck. be sure and grab the pedal as well since it has a different mounting hole. hawkrod

did the same here, used the entire front susp. from a 74 and the mastercylender/booster from the same.I kept the stock pedal and just spliced in a 1 inch piece of steel to the stock actuator arm to get the pedal height back to where it belongs. and I have been running that setup for about 3 years now and not one problem.

Oh, btw, make sure you get the proportioning block from your donor truck to equalise the brakes if you do the drum to disk swap!

the whos thing cost me less than $200, money very well spent.
