Power brake upgrade

I have a 73 manual brake standard trans front disc, I am upgrading to power. I have a complete standard trans pedal cradle with brake pedal marked D7TA-LA. So I will be using 77-79 Power booster and master. My question is would it be easier to swap just the pedal or the whole cradle? I have searched and saw a couple have asked this but couldnt find an answer, Thanks, Mike

I updated my manual brakes to power in my '73 F-100 with a 360/C6 to power. I found a '73-'79 truck in the salvage yard that had a good booster and it had a bracket that offset the booster higher on the firewall. I disconnected the rod from the pedal and took everything from that rod to the booster including the plastic fitting that the vacuum hose that snaps into the front of the booster. I had to replace the M/C (O'Reilly's) anyway as the reservoir go dry. I cleaned up the firewall brackets and painted them and scotchbrighted the booster and shot it matte black, bought a new vacuum line and installed and it works great.

Thank you for your replies, I have the parts, I just wondered has anyone swapped just the pedal out or the whole cradle? Which was easier.

So no one has ever just changed a brake pedal opposed to the whole pedal perch?

What's the difference between the pedals? I know my truck is an auto, but I left the pedal alone.
