The Chilton's and/or Haynes manuals are OK for the casual enthusiast. The CD has all the factory data, but is not as easy to use as a manual .... unless you have a laptop you can take to the X. I have the CD, but I prefer using the Ford factory orginal service manuals available from Helm, Inc. Plan on spending about $230 or so for the 2-volume manual AND a third book of wiring diagrams. It's often quicker to locate, and re-locate, information in the hardcopy manuals.
The factory data is much better than Chilton/Haynes, but it still isn't perfect. I've found a couple minor errors in the factory manuals.
The last time I bought a C or H manual must've been 25 years ago. I have no faith in them ... but that's just one man's opinion.
