ABS

Hello all. My latest issue with my 1989 F 150 has to do with the ABS warning light on the dash. It’s for the rear brakes. My truck is two wheel drive. I’ve replaced the rear drums, cylinders and shoes. Light still stays on! The brakes work great. Any ideas??????

Probably the speed sensor located on top of the differential (IFyour year has on there), It fixed mine. One bolt off and unplug it and pull it out. Sandy

I think yours may be of the side of your transmission if it is an automatic?????? here is the process on the differential version

Stop guessing why the ABS light is triggered. Pull the codes: RABS Code Flashout Info
