2021 Ranger news
I think the next Ranger will be a 2022 not a 2021 ( With a new F-150 and Bronco coming likely as 2021's ) and it will be slightly bigger to match or exceed the Tacoma which I'm not happy about. I love the size of the 2019. The 2.7 would rule this class. I like my 2.3, it tows great and exceeded my expectations although it can transmit a slight amount of 4cyl buzz, there's no way I'd trade the truck just for the 2.7 upgrade. But, it is definitely a more powerful engine that I would have paid extra for if it was an option on the 2019.
"Also worth noting is that our Ford sources have said that there will be no Bronco reveal at the LA Auto Show in November. That rumor had been making the rounds. Our sources say that the Bronco Sport, part of the two-vehicle strategy for Ford, will be unveiled in the first half of next year. Our sources also say that we are at least a year away from a debut of the full-size Bronco, and more than a year from an on-sale date. The dates tipped to us are the end of 2020 or early in 2021 for the reveal of the Bronco."
After seeing this disappointing news, if true, we aren't even seeing the Bronco reveal until over a year from now!! It would likely go on sale mid 2021. Unless the next Ranger is being co developed as we speak, it will likely not even be a 2022, but a 2023 model. Which a 4 year run of the current "all new" truck makes sense. I still don't like the Bronco truck rumor any more than I like the Jeep Gladiator. Apparently not many people are liking the Gladiator with such dismal sales.
