SCJ piston options

I’m gathering parts for my 79 Bronco and I picked up a 460 D1VE block and new Eagle cast 4.14 crank for $150 yesterday, I’m gonna use Eagle 6.7 rods and Ford Racing SCJ heads that I already have. I’m having trouble locating pistons for a 501ci build using these heads, if anyone knows where I can find pistons I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

You probably need a custom piston with that stroke and rod.

Thanks I did find one that Mahle makes but damn they are pricy, I might just get a Scat 4.300 crank and rods and use JE pistons, I got that Eagle crank for free so no big loss if I don’t use it

Scat cranks are, by all acounts, stronger than the Eagles anyway. Wiseco makes a good forged piston for the 4.3 crank/6.7 rod combination as well. Recommend Total seal rings, if you have the time to fit them.
