Ford Truck Folks,
Need more input on this, I am rebuilding a 1974 F350 Dually flatbed and started to take the rear axle apart and found the axle house where the bearing would ride all marred up. Looks like someone tried to weld it and grind it down it also had what looked like brass sheets wrapped around the inside of the hub. Sorry the axle is a Dana 70, should I just get another housing or can I do a speedi sleeve? The is being built to be a camper tower.. Attached are pictures of the housing.
Thanks for the responses, yeah looking to get a replacement housing now, as I am building this truck to do some heavy working with pulling our camper to who knows where and back don't want this to be the weak link.
