Here earlier in the guide you can see that it calls it Lariat Sport Appearance Package 17L which matches what I first copied.
So the package is only an appearance package not a functional package. Only changes the looks of the truck. And if you order the LED lights, it adds the blackout surrounds. That is my read of what it comes with.

Not exactly, you dont get the choice to add or not add the LED lights, you get LED with black surrounds only.
I know the wording is a little strange, but if you look at the 19 sport package it has the same wording but with halogen in place of LED. As you know, in 19 it was a halogen only package.
I have to say I don't know. I am only going by what the 2020 order guide says. So then I went to the option for LED lights in the order guide.
Quad Beam LED Headlamps and LED Fog Lamps, and LED Taillamps; optional availability requires Lariat Ultimate Pkg. (96U); LED Fog Lamps and LED Center High-Mounted Stop Lamp (CHMSL))
59Q — — O-96U
It says option or 96U which Is Lariat Ultimate. Maybe it requires you to order Lariat Ultimate to get the Sport Package and that means you get the LED lights from the Lariat Ultimate?

Lol, that LED package above requires that the truck also have the Lariat Ultimate Package, but is not included with the Ultimate package and does not apply to a Lariat with Sport.
The Sport appearance package includes(not an option) LED headlights with blacked out housings, they are exclusive to the Sport package,.completley unrelated to the Ultimate package.
All I have been saying is that there is no language in the order guide to say what you have said is correct. And to get the Lariat Sport Appearance Package, it appears to say any Lariat (Value or Ultimate) can get it. Yet you must have the Ultimate package to get the LED lights in the past. I read the changes to the 2020 and did not read anything about this being changed. I think the only way to know for sure is to go into the FORD ordering software at the dealership and see what it will allow you to do. When the online FORD build site is up for the 2020, it should solve any questions.

But it does have language saying that Sport comes with LED headlights, you posted it already. It says, "LED only", when you look at 2019 it has the same language but instead says, "Halogen only". Come on, this isn't that complicated. Bellow is the Sport Package description from Ford.Com 2019 build and price.
F-350 SRW 4x4.
Includes:
• 6-inch Ebony Black Angular – Running Boards
• 20-inch Ebony Black Painted Premium Aluminum Wheels
• LT275/65Rx20E OWL A/S Tires
• Ebony Black Fender Vent Surround
• Ebony Black Painted front Grille Bars
• Ebony Black Painted Mirror Caps
• Headlamps – Black out surrounds, halogen only
• Tough Bed® spray-in bedliner; includes tailgate-guard, black box bed tie-down hooks and black bed attachment bolts
• Wheel Well Liner - Rear
There are 2 sites that I know of that have 2020 build and pricing, the Sport package does not require the Ultimate Package but also wont allow the LED package option to be selected on a Sport, even with the Ultimate package. 1. Because the LED option package is not the same as the blacked out surround LEDs that the Sport includes.
2. The Sport Package comes with LED headlights, "only". No additional option necessary.
FYI, according to the OM, all interior lamps* are LED regardless of trim level/options as are some exterior lamps.
*replacement bulb not listed for vanity mirror.
There are a few lamps where the bulb is available as standard or LED. Not sure what Ford provides.
Front side marker lights (W5W)
Front direction indicator and parking lamps (T20/7444NA)
Reversing lamps (W21W)
Oops, I was thinking about an F150 but you are correct about the license plate lights.
The vanity mirror bulbs can be replaced with a 29 mm festoon LED bulb.
Glad I saw your list, will make sure they are all listed on the window sticker. LOL
OK, I am 62, have never bought a new car, but about to sign for a 2020 F350 SRW / Long Bed 6.7 Crew. We don't drive many miles, but we need it.
Exciting, scary, worried that my brain fell out. But, will be a business expense, that will help.
We do horseback lessons for kids and take them to shows, and haul hay back to our place...Nothing very heavy.
Got a KR 2008 F350 off eBay 7 years ago. We have fixed all kinds of stuff on it. The thing is scary fast, on entrance ramp...whew scary. But we putt around about 40 MPH most of the time pulling a horse trailer. Just have to test it now and then. The trade in value is crap, but then I don't have to fix the door lock switches and such.
