I have a 2001 Sport Trac, 215,000 miles. I plan on changing the rear end fluid. Do I have to look for a tag on the rear end, or can I use the VIN number to figure out what read-end I have? Need to know because if limited slip, i will need the friction modifier. I think 2 quarts should be enough.
It has been a long time since I was on this forum and miss the dedicated Sport Trac Forum.
