help with settings

wanted to see if anyone can provide some info in regards to setting shift points and pressure for the 1715 tuner. i just got it last week. apparently there was some delay for the 2003 v10. i called Superchips before i ordered it and they told me that it came out last tuesday for the 2003 v-10. when i put the program in, i honestly didnt notice much difference at all. i was a little disappointed. i have 36" pj's ,4:30 gears,FIPK, Flowmaster 40 if that makes any difference. is it better to use the superchips preset program or custom adjust it? thanks for any help you can give me.

When I updated the EEPROM in my 2001 with the SCMT, I used the "default" upgrade settings, and man, made a huge noticeable difference. If you don't notice anything at all, I would say call Superchips and ask to talk to a tech. guy. Maybe they have some different chips in the 2003 truck that the programmer did not account for (and thus your's show no diff. in performance). Just a SWAG. Good luck.

I went with the custom settings.Max shift pressure, raised shift points, removed speed limiter. You probaly wont be able to go higher than 2 marks above stock shift points because you will run into the rev limiter.
