Hi yall bricknoses. Question, fuse#1 in fuse box has no power to it. What feeds fuse #1, color of wire?. Is there a fuse link i can check near the battery? Lost my brake and hazard lights. Traced it back to no power at fuse #1. Hoping there is a loose connection under the hood or something. The back of the fuse box has no or little access. Thanks.
The blue fuse link? Ok thanks. How do you check these links. A fuse you can check continuity amd they are usually visual. But the fuse link have no visual way to check them other than cutting them out? The fuse link I have under the good are just rubber block shaped about 3/4 inch long in line of the wire. What u think?
the rubber Block is just the Marker....... most folks I know test em with a Volt Meter or a test light and poke the wire with a Pin ... be sure to seal the hole you make in the wire with some Liquid Electrical Tape or other such sealer...
Anyway that "Blue" fuse link connects to another wire (the Link is like maybe 6" long at the most and goes to the Battery Pin on the IGN Switch then Feeds the Brake Fuse... IIRC
A non invasive way is to use a Current Probe, Most home Mechanics don't own one....
I've seen others Pull on the fuse link and IF it stretches then it ain't no good
