Blasting Targets - literally

My son just purchased a case of exploding targets and is having a "blast" with them. They are binary explosives that you mix in a bottle and use the bottle as a target that explodes big time when hit by a bullet. They are safe if used correctly, but as with any explosive, can be dangerous if used in the wrong way. One guy put the bottle in a gravel pile and was hit by flying gravel and another guy shot the bottle from close range with a pistol and was hurt. It is supposed to be great for long range shooting because there is no doubt when you hit it. The stuff is $100 a case. Check it out at tannerite.com.

You don't have to purchase exploding targets to have fun. Check this out: http://www.digitalweapons.com/joseph/inan/

yeah.... I bet they got some cool warnings/advisories in those instructions, because you know that it only got there because some fool used it the way they are telling you not to!

You are right. My son talked with the president of the company and he stressed safety. You are also required to buy a vidio on proper use.
