302 or 351??? peanuts!!! it needs a worked 390 or even better a 427 or 428!!
An old school, tire shredding, FE big block, sounds good to me. That 427, was an all out racing engine that they only dropped in a few cars if I recall correctly? Not sure I ever saw one of these, even in any of the car museums I've visited.
427 cross bolt with high rise manifold was a driveshaft twisting demon. the ywere available for street cars, but are still rare. the DOHC 427 was even worse.they were race engines direct from ford, and not for street use.
the 428 is a bit tamer, only around 450 hp.
