Number Dummy Help!

I have a 1965 F100 Custom cab. 352, 3onT, 3.50 9 inch. It was originally Mediterranean Turquoise till the PO decided he wanted a two tone truck, and who can blame him? I love that look. So this is a two part question. First, I have seen several different patterns of two tone and I'm
wondering which one is correct. PO made everything above the trim line white with....Plastidip.Which is good I guess, it comes off easier than paint.
Which brings us to question two. Dude painted over the "Custom cab" script on the doors. One of the first things I did to the truck was pull those off and stripped them,
and you guessed it, lost about half thr fasteners. Barrel nuts I've heard them called. Also been told they are unobtanium. What say you Bill?

The clips in question

Nice original

Got the driver's door stripped and found bondo holes from different mirrors.

Napa has them in that fastener book (I think it's called Balknap). Almost the same overall size except made from thicker material so you have to open the holes in the door up a little.

355891-S2 .. Barrel Clip 1/8" use with C1TZ-8125622-A Custom Cab script nameplate / Obsolete

NOS PARTS LTD in Waxahachie TX has 16 = 972-937-2201.

The most common tu-tone scheme would have been Caribbean Turquoise on the roof and below the side mouldings with Wimbledon White everywhere else.

Caribbean Turquoise is COLOR code B / Wimbledon White is COLOR code M

If you have broken off any of the pins on the emblem it will never go back on right. The reproduction emblems I got from Carpenter are exactly like the originals and they come with new barrel clips.

Sharp looking truck! Are the horns on the front bumper stock?
I'm not a fan of the white on the doors for myself, being a full time mechanic and daily driving the truck leads to too many opportunities to leave greasy paw prints on the white. LoL.

Driver's side came off intact and I had enough barrels to put it back nicely. Passenger side was already broke and came off in peices. May end up going to Carpenters for that one. On the other hand, that's her side of the truck and nobody will be paying attention to the trim.
