Lets talk Brake Boosters ...
Hello,
I was looking to get a new brake booster. BUT it seems everywhere
I checked are "Out Of Stock" . All the local places Auto Zone, Advance,
NAPA, and Pep Boys. I checked Rock auto and a few other places.
Are there any other Modern years that can be used ? I found the F350
upgrade. It looks like a nice upgrade but no boosters are available. It
would be nice to have a alternate option. like to go with the Dual diaphragm
type F350 upgrade for sure.

Oreilly’s will send yours off to be rebuilt... that’s if you can find one in the junk yard.
I just upgraded my F350 to a 2005 F150s booster and it made a huge improvement in pedal pressure.
Being that you have an F150 I’d recommend the late 70’s Ford car caliper (1978 LTD for example) upgrade. They are the same external design as the F150 calipers but have a much bigger piston. I did this on my Bronco and it was great.

Don’t know. I didn’t own the booster I wanted so once I found out it wasn’t in stock and was a rebuild yours type thing I moved on.
