Watched her on various car shows and was always impressed with her knowledge and skills. I spoke with Lou Santello at the Sacramento Motorama years ago about Jessi (they costarred in an off-road truck series) and asked him if Jesse was really as good a welder/fabricator as she was portrayed to be on the TV show...he answered in one word, "better". Sad to see such a talent dead at only 36. RIP

A very sad day indeed.
She was one of my hero's. I've been following her since Mythbusters, 4 Wheeling, Overhauling, All Girls Garage, etc. A very talented young lady.
She will definitely be missed

Indeed a tragedy. A lot can go wrong really fast at 500 mph. Prayers and condolences to friends and family.

Spoke with her last at the SEMA show over in the Warn booth, prior to an autograph session. We were discussing my grand-daughter's adventures in acting & doing commercials.
Jessi will definitely be missed. Not just talented automotive professional but very down to earth.
