I have a 64 f100 with a 65 column in it with a 65 tss in it I know it will not work in the 64 wiring hookup but what I want to know will a c3tz-13341-b switch be made to work in the 65 column with a little modification ?
really don't want to hang a tss on the column with a hose clamp if I can help it thanks mike ,truck is almost ready to make a madden run around the block
truck didn't come with one... it had a Lincoln column in it that was welded to a cut off shaft on the steering box unsafe looked like drunk chicken poop
but I put a cv ifs in the truck and a friend gave me a 65 column so in it went looks good in there but having a time with tss problems I have to work out

I looked at the 1963/64 TSS on eBay and compared to my 1965/66 TSS and they do seem to be very similar. The main plastic piece as well as the cancelling cam look about identical. Hard for me to say they are identical without holding one in each hand, but there seems like a good chance it would mount fine.
thanks chad for the info !!! going to the salvage yard Friday and decode a few trucks and see if there are any 63-64 models and maybe snag a switch I'm going to take the 65 switch with me to see if they are the same mounting pattern if so I get lucky if not one of them ebay switches are going to be mine

just curious, but why can't you use the '65 switch you have? I would assume I could wire it to work on any vehicle. It's obvious from your ifs that you're not going for stock.
I wish I could I can fallow a schematic but to modify it is beyond my skill level a lot of stuff runs through it

You just need to connect the wires. The 64 and 65 switches work the same. I just took a quick look at a 64 an 65 wiring diagram and the wire colors appear to be the same.
well I have a ebay nos tss awitch coming and also dc has them listed for sale but im sure they are from china
I hope o have a little hair left after I get it in and working

a little update on the tss the 64 C3TZ-13341-B worked in the 65 column no problems except the wires on it were they come out of the switch our on the wrong side of the stud where the rod screws in head to enlarge the hole in the plate so I could get the wires to switch sides and go down the column wire trap so they wouldn't rub on the rod and the color codes on the wires all matched up except on the road map it says one is red but there is no red wire but it was the last wire to plug in and the colors matched up with the plug so maybe it will work thanks for all the help mike
