Turn Signal Flasher
Does any body know if the turn signal flasher is a mechanical style (based on the bulb filament) or electronic? I want to upgrade the rear bulbs to LED's.

It’s electronic, but I don’t believe there’s a discrete relay, if that’s what you’re looking for. If you change the rear bulbs to LED, the lamps will blink at the normal rate, but the dash turn indicators and the chime will (annoyingly) operate in hyper mode.
Three possible solutions are to install load resistors with the new bulbs, or use FORScan to reprogram your truck, or have a dealer reprogram your truck.
