99 SD 7.3 Purchase
I'm considering a 99 Superduty 4x4 with the 7.3 as my next truck. It's got the manual transmission and 163000 miles. One owner vehicle. What are things to be on the lookout for as a potential buyer for this particular vehicle? As in what repairs are typical for a vehicle of this age and mileage?

I’d look at the suspension, particularly the rubber. Possibly HPOP seals. The driver seat always tears along the outer seam. Being a manual, who knows what the clutch has been through.
FWIW, I have an ‘01 F250 7.3 w/ a ZF-6. 293k on the clock, and still going. It has it’s issues, but they are to be expected.
If you ever have a bad battery, replace them both! Trust me on this
