Anyone in the Sacramento area know of a place to take my truck for a makeover? Looking for springs, shocks, all joints underneath, paint and interior. Even coating on frame. Don’t want to get rid of 7.3 and don’t want to pay for a new truck.
crazymut,
Don't know how handy you are but as far as your interior is concerned you might try doing it yourself. I just bought a leather interior kit from Katzkin for my 06 crew cab. the leather seat kit was about $800.00 delivered to the house. I installed the leather seat skins myself. A shop wanted $2,600.00 to get & install the Katzkin interior . It was time consuming but not a difficult task. I spent more time cleaning than I did on the upholstery. The seat shop has a few videos on youtube how to do the upholstery. The only items you will need that you might not have is hog rings (figure about 75) a decent pair of hog ring pliers (figure $25) and the torxs socket to get the seats & seat belts if you want to clean them too like I did.
Just a thought
