If you have over 100k miles on it I would replace the lifters you have access to. If I ever had to do heads on another of these motors, I pull it so I could replace all the lifters.
I’d change my mind if a few people with 100k plus miles destructively inspected the lifters and I saw the needles were all excellent.
If you want to make arrangements I will give you mine that I replaced last September (October?). I didn't take them apart but you can.
Yeah, if you don’t mind wiping them out, Pete. I’m really curious if the damage to my needles were only due to my motors debris, or if there’s more going on with other motors.
