5 pin accelerator pedal position sensor
2002 F250 w/ 7.3 no mods
What is the correct procedure to test the voltage of the 5 pin accelerator pedal position sensor and to the 5 pin harness itself. What are the min and Max voltages that I should be seeing? Should the Voltmeter be set at DC 20v? Is there a Youtube video that shows this procedure? Thanks

With 5 pins the following is likely.
Two pins for the idle validation switch, Three pins for the potentiometer part of the pedal.
5v and a ground for the switch, 5v and a ground for the potentiometer with the addition of a wire for the sweep leg of the pot with varying voltage according to the pedal position.
