I have a 2005 F150 Lariat and the driver side power seat does not work at all. No up, down, forward, or reverse. The power mirrors were also not working but I've fixed that by repairing the infamous orange/green splice issue - unfortunately did not resolve the power seat. Here is what I've tried:
Checked fuse #3 and #109 - GOOD
Checked orange/green splice - REPAIRED
Checked power on seat switch - GOOD (12V on the contacts)
Checked dirty contacts on switch - GOOD (appears OK)
Checked connections under seat - GOOD (all appear secure and in good condition)
Cleaned switch with electronics cleaner - NO GOOD (didn't change anything)
Checked purple wire on driver side - found advice to check this for a splice issue too, but couldn't find the splice.
I think the next step is to try a new switch. Does anyone have a suggestion on what to try next other than that?
Does it have climate control seats and /or memory seats? Need to know to find the correct wiring diagram. Is it 2 or 4wd and what engine? he last 2 don't really matter usually but that is what it asks when I look up anything.

Whelp, I think I found the issue. It’s missing a motor! I compared it to the passenger seat and it clearly has missing parts.
The front faceplate, motor, and whatever attaches it to the seat track is not there like on the passenger. And there is clearly a power line for the motor just hanging there.
I’ll need to find a replacement but Ford said it’s discontinued. Any recommendations for used parts? Otherwise I’ll search around. Thanks for the help!
