I own a bone stock 2017 F350 srw 6.7 and would like to wake it up a bit.. not looking into changing exhaust or air intake. If this is achievable what is everyone running. Thanks for the help.
unless you are going to delete the egr,dpf etc theres no sense tuning a stock f350. You have a lot of power already stock. Tuning stock wont improve much. I wouldnt waste my money tuning a stock truck. When I had a 7.3 I tuned it stck but those trucks were a different animal. They were dogs stock. These new ones are not dogs.
most guys here that run tuners have deleted the truck. Thats what wakes it up and avoids having emission related problems in future. But that also depends on your states emission laws.
I know a guy who has this on a 17+ truck. He said he drives around in level 6. Says he has some get up and go but not like the deleted past gen he traded. I can't remember what year the old truck was. They are coming out with the Derringer for the 11 to 16s so I plan on getting one for mine. What I like about the Banks is that it has safeguards built in that if there was a problem, it would automatically revert back to stock. Plus it runs at a leaner 19:1 air fuel ratio which will produce less soot and possibly get more mpg if you don't hammer down all the time. My friend has a 5th wheel so I haven't talked to him yet to see how it does while towing.
Oh, and welcome to the club.

While a different truck since things changed in 2017, member SkiSmuggs here runs a DPF on custom tune on a 2015MY. There may be others since it's not as popular but Ski is someone who comes to mind and has put the effort into explaining his results tuning a full emissions truck. Maybe he'll see your thread. You may want to look through some of his posts to see if you find details you are after.
These trucks are plenty powerful stock. I personally don't see the point (at least to avoid possible warranty denial concerns) other than improved shifting strategy (from what I've read the 6R140 is a little difficult to work with for the 2017+ when it comes to tuning the TCM).
While not a Ford, a guy I know custom tuned (DPF on) his 2015 LML Duramax and it did increase his regeneration frequency with the same daily driving routine. Results will certainly vary and do not go with canned tunes.
Kper is correct. Ski runs DP Tuner tunes now I believe and has run 5 Star as well. Shoot him a PM. I'm sure he'd be happy to help. Those are the two more popular guys for emissions legal tuners. DP Tuner actually sponsors this section on FTE.
