Source for Body Mounts ?

94, Club Wagon, 5.8, E4OD

Looking for frame to body mounts/isolators for my year. I can only find 95 and up, maybe they changed in 95?
Anyone have any idea either where to aquire them or the part numbers? Number Dummy?

[EDIT] Nevermind, looks like they are installed from the top (unless anyone knows different?)
I would have to tear out a pretty good part of the inside of the van to get to the bolts (if they are from the top)

Thanks.

I replaced mine with a pair from an early Bronco. I jacked up the body and cut the mount (they look like a donut) so that it would fit around the stud in the factory mount, then put a hose clamp around the mount to keep it from opening up. Then lowered the body back down. Been three years now since I did this. No problems. No noise. And a LOT easier than removing that rusted center bolt. The Bronco mount is about 2-1/2" diameter, 3/4" thick with a 3/4" hole in the middle.

I am not really sure if what I am looking for is the actual body mount or body spacer.

On my 94 club wagon it looks oval shaped and protrudes down from the body through the inside frame rail about 3 inches, It looks kinda strange.

Can anyone confirm thats what it is?

This is the part I can see that is worn / rotted away causeing a very loud popping sound from the passenger side everytime I hit a

bump.

Ive already had the ball joints replaced so its not them.

Ive seen your post before baddad and I might have to try something like this because I have no access to the inside of the van If

needed to change out the spacer / mount.

Thanks.

That's it. Mine were completely gone except for the center bolt. The Bronco pucks fixed the noise.

Yea, mine were too when I had, had enough of the noise. The two immediately behind the rear axle were the offenders.

Soooooo , Are the bushings installed from the top / inside the van? or, can the stock body to frame bushing be installed from the bottom under the van?

Thanks

With the hockey puck bushings I used, I simply jacked the body up as far as it would go, then cut the bushings and stuck them in place around the center bolt, then put a hose clamp around the bushing to keep it from opening up after dropping the body back onto the bushing.

Yes, but are the body to chasis bolts only accessible from the inside of the van? Or can the new mounts be installed under the van without being on the inside?

I don't know, I didn't remove the bolts, too rusty to even attempt that.

I just started looking for these body mount bushings again and the only place that "might" have them is fordpartsgiant.com
Has anyone replaced their 1994 and earlier body mounts? and if so where did you get them?
I have checked dorman, crown, jegs, summit, and a few others and they only have 1995 and later, It seems these are some strange odd shaped bushings / isolators.
