I am thinking about updating my 81 front end to the 94 front end I like the rounded look. From the literature I've read and pictures I've looked at, plus actual side by side comparisons it looks like the body lines are the same I know that I would have to do some wiring in order for the head lights to work. I was wondering if they (ford) did any adjustments to where the fenders mount to the chassy between years, and if any one has attempted to do this? My EB is due for a paint job soon and if its is a swap that i can do with out too much cutting and welding im doing it. Thanks for the info.

You will have some problems with mounting the fenders to the cab but they aren't too hard to overcome. as for bodylines the only ones that won't match up is the indentation on the rear 1/4 panel.
I know many have swapped the 92+ front end onto 87-91 models but not certain how much, if any, differences there are in the next generation back as far as front crossmember and such. www.autofab.com has some information and they make fiberglass body panels that can be seen on the 91 on their site. (at least I think its a converted 91).
