Lately I've been having this issue sometimes where the gauges all go to zero, all warning light are on or blinking and the message centre will be blinking, at the same time the A/C will stop blowing cold air. All this while driving down the road, A/c still blows just not cold. It will usually go away in a minute or so. What could be causing this?
You are developing an open circuit . The load is breaking down a connection . Your ac clutch is probably dropping out . Lose dirty grounds . Corroded connections ground and/or 12vdc positive . It can be found with a voltage drop test under load .
You have grounds on frame and motor --clean all . You have grounds in left and right kick panels . Your frame may be heavy rusted. Not everybody is good at finding the area of problems .
Example you have a lead that is carrying current , if you put a voltmeter from one end to the other it should show very little drop.
It ideally should read zero volts .1 volt would be a lot of drop .
So, first thing I could check is all the grounds connections and make sure they are clean and thight. Can anyone tell me all the locations of the ground connections?
Problem solved! Turns out my battery was going bad, went to Advance to have my battery tested and sure enough, it was bad. New battery installed, problems gone!
