Hey guys I purchased a ‘17 f250 lariat from an insurance auction last fall that was in a pretty substantial accident. I have got it built back using oem parts but I can’t figure out how to replace the passenger dash pad.
I was able to get the old pad off because it was pretty ripped up and I have the new airbag installed and plugged in. I like to do all the work my self but I can’t figure out how this thing goes back on short of taking out the entire dash, which I can’t believe Ford would make it this way.
My local dealer quoted me $1,600 to install the new dash pad ( that I already have). Anybody have any insight?
Sorry I have no info for you. But you could go to the Ford tech site and pay for a day, I think that’s the minimum, for access to the online service manual.
I sure some one else will chime in. But at 1600, I’ll bet you have to remove the dash or a portion of it.
