2008 Top Dash Removal
Got a nice long scratch in the dash on my 08 superduty. Had to make a claim with the insurance and it'll cost about $1,300 for a replacement. Anyone ever removed/replaced one before? I know it is one big single piece and I'd rather do it myself instead of the dealership. I know if I do it myself that it will be done right with no other damage to the interior. Where could I purchase a manual for this type of job?

u consider having it repaired instead ???
theres some good technology among the interior repair fields these days..
u might even try asking at ur dealership who they use..or a local bodyshop..
certainly less trouble then trying to skin ur dash off..

I did think of repairing it but the damage happened during a windshield replacement and it was their fault. They are also the ones paying for the new dash but I would rather do the install myself. When I made the claim to my my insurance they told me that the ones who did the damage will pay for the new one.
