Power window installation
I am installing the Electric Life power window kit into my 1977 F150, is anyone interested in seeing how I installed this set up into my truck?
I am also installing the Autoloc 15deg power window switches that use the std crank handle.
If there is any interest I'll take pictures and post them here.

AutoLoc's revolutionary electric window crank switches allow you to operate your power windows with your vehicle's original window crank handle, thus eliminating the need to mount aftermarket switches in your door panels. To operate your electric window, simply rotate the window crank up or down 15 degrees.
It's a great idea, until a non knowing (you have elec windows) person man handles that window crank and it goes way past the switch limits.
At 5:12 it shows how much handle movement it takes to move the window regulator.
I chose to mount the motor on the bottom, as there is more room, and to the back of the door, it just seemed to fit better. Don't mount the track all the way to the top of the door, there isn't enough room for the track and "carriage" assembly. By "carriage" I mean the part that slides up and down the track.
I chose not to fit limit stops, I used the glass to stop the "carriage" coming out at the top, and as for the bottom, I'll simply stop the window where I wish. Just for reference, I chose this system as it seemed the only one that would allow me to keep the stock window crank handle, albeit mounted to a switch.
Ok, pictures:
This is the mounting plate, drilled and ready to fit the Electric Life regulator set up to.
This is the Electric Life regulator kit on the plate, this side goes to the outside of the door.
This is the kit in the door, you can see how low it is mounted, and the zinc plated bar is included in the kit. The plate I made tucks away below the lip of the opening. I haven't bolted the plate yet in this picture.
There you have it!! All fitted up. It works even!!
This is the power window switch:
I have stripped the switch and turned the internal cam for want of a better word, over, so the screws holding the cover plate on, are not used to mount the switch as well. I made a cardboard template of the switch, cut the hole in the card to match the door crank handle hole and then made holes where the screws go into the switch in the card. I then used the card to mark the door. It doesn't matter how the switch is mounted.
I can provide pictures of the mounting holes in the door, and of the card template if required.
Also, the below switches are free to a good home, at your cost for postage. Remember I am in New Zealand, so there will be a fee for transferring money to me, that'll be your responsibility, if you want them, let me know. First in gets them.
