Didn't know if anyone had found a good center console to fit the ppv expedition that works well and is a good height for an armrest. I've found a few on amazon but I'm not sure if they would be tall enough for the expedition seating to be useful for an armrest.
Those look nice but are 320.00. A bit pricey but looks to be a nice fit and built for the expy. May have to see how hard it would be to add aux ports on it.
Yeah definitely pricey. If you plan to keep it for a while it might be worth it . . . and (if it fits right) it beats the heck out of not having an arm rest. I've driven a bunch of Econolines around that have the cheapest driver's seat with no arm rest and always feel lopsided because there's an arm rest on the door.
I have a 08 ssv, the owner before installed a 2nd gen expedition center console in. Fits very good, almost makes the dash contours, you would have to look at it good to see it's not the one for the truck. Lots of storage and the height is perfect for a arm rest.
I'd have to ditch my toggle switches for the sirens and lights but that's a non-issue. Can always be relocated. My only issue would be the siren? box between the seats interfering with mounting. I have it unhooked atm (too damn tempting in school traffic) so I could always take it out or relocate it I think.
