I'd be shocked if Ford didn't match or beat GM by 100lbs.

Ford always touts their 'Best in class Payload and towing'

I am with you. I was debating about ordering one this year and now I am glad I pulled the trigger on a 2019 with the manual transfer case. First it was the manual transmission and now the transfer case.

Maybe take a few hundred lbs off of these values:

Anyways, I have some general question about Payload.

Does anyone know the payload of a 2019 F350 6.7l Plat SRW with a regular bed? They had a F250 Plat 6.7l regular bed and the Payload for that one was 2026lbs. I'm hoping they up the payload on both F250/350 considering the new GMC 2020 2500/3500HD Denali have 3036/3700 respectively and both were fully loaded.
The '17 F350, 4X4, 6.7, srw regular bed trucks in a KR or Platinum I looked at had between 3200 and 3300 payload stickers. I doubt much has changed with the '19s as they are pretty much the same. I'm hoping the 20s will be around 3800. Wait and see.

Does anyone know if the 225/70/Rx19.5 "traction" tires listed in the guide for the F450 are the Conti HD3s? I have read that the HSRs that they had been putting on the earlier F450s were atrocious in the snow. I've saw posts where a lot of the recent 19s have been coming with the HD3s? I can only hope. It will be my daily driver and we tend to get some decent snows.

That's good to hear. Even if payload isn't increased much (which I doubt is the case) it's nice that the PLAT F350 still has over 3k in Payload.

IMO, Ford is retaining its clean, sharp classic lines and remaining powerfully modest. Quietly stands tall above the rest.
GMC is trying way to hard to make their truck outlandish in a desperate attempt to be noticed, and IMO, it’s so over the top out of proportion , it’s downright embarrassing.
The Chevy? Dear God......

I have noted that you still cannot build a 2020 SD on the Ford site, when is that going to change????

Went thru the order guide to see what might be different between my 17 and the 20's. Not a lot seems to have changed that I could see. I did see the trailer backup system thingy is standard on KR's and above. That is new. I would guess that only works with a bumper pull and not a fifth wheel. Also, I don't see any mention of massaging seats. The wife will be disappointed if that is the case. She likes to fire it up while we are on some of our long trips.
