Really disappointed that they made no changes to the interior to try to match up to Ram. Being that I cannot afford to jump thru a truck every year or 2, I was hoping for some new tech other than the archaic 8" Sync3 system. Might have to jump my loyalty lines, sucks...

Cannot argue with you there, would have liked to have seen bigger screen and tweaked interior, but I will NOT do a RAM, no way no how and Chevy/GMC does not really play at the 450 level like Ford does, so I stay here and if I did not NEED this F 450 I would not be buying it, but my business model has changed and I had to go to the F 450 to meet my needs...

Ya, I'm really torn. I just love Ford, always have - no way I'd ever consider GMC/Chevy, just horrendous looking thing and RAM's 3500 is not as capable towing as the F450...maybe there is some aftermarket solution for the screen stuff. Did they keep the trailer camera and trailer TPS system in the 20s? Really liked those options...

I didn't realize the electric parking back was added. We have this on our 2018 Epadition and it's kind of annoying.

My guess is the 10r140 10th gear ratio will be around 0.63 and the current 6r140's 6th is 0.674, so it will help lower the rpms at highway speed but not enough for me. I just think 4.30's are a waste as 1st gear is probably going to be a 4.5 or around there and the current 6r140 is 3.97. They could've even switched to 4.10 and it would be a drastic improvement in mileage and still have plenty of power from a stop. But, this is all speculative until the 10 speed ratios are released.

I am interested in ordering a 2020. and I was wondering if anyone could point me into the right direction in regards to ordering a new truck the right way. I have owned well over 50 trucks in my life but the last brand new truck I bought was a 1993 Chevrolet 4x4 crew cab dually. Thats a very long time ago. My most recent Ford is a 2012 Super duty. I want the 2020 over 2019 or 2018 because of the 10 speed and I need to order it because I have to have the PTO option due to the trailers I pull. I could look for a C&C but I don't want the down graded power and options of a C&C.. It will be an F450 pick up. No dealer ever seems to order pick ups with the measly $280 PTO option, especially high end crew cabs. I see loaded 2019 F450s advertised all over the place (no PTO of course) with 8000 grand off of sticker. I assume this is because they are coming up on a new year and they want to move these trucks? If you order a new truck, especially early on, does that mean you are expected to pay the full sticker price? If true thats a big negative. I will be paying with cash but I know that is no advantage. By the way I enjoyed the new ordering guide I read the whole thing. I also noticed there is no tow technology package for 2020. It appears the items under that option are available either as stand alone or in other packages for 20.

As far as discounts when ordering, join Mustang Club of America for $25 and you can get X plan pricing which is essentially invoice plus it caps the document fee. You may get a better price haggling but on an ordered refreshed 2020 I doubt you will beat it by much for a few months at least.
$25 to get $4-$5k off is a pretty good deal
