2000 excursion limited

Do I have the only limited Ex without heated seats ? Every other one I've seen had heated seats.

My '00 Limited has regular seats but I intend to re-cover them before winter hits and add some of those carbon fiber butt warmers.

Mine didn't have heated seats either. That's one of the few options on a 2000 and 2001 Model Excursion Limited.

I guess that makes sense, I bought mine in homestead Florida. I was hoping the seat was changed out and I could swap back in the right one and just plug it in. Oh well

Since it was an option on the 2000 and 2001 it's possible that the wiring is already there. All you have to do is find a seat that has the heater or use aftermarket heaters.

I added full factory heat, and pass power option to my 01 XLT. It's not very difficult. I also activated the heat button green locator light when the key is on just like the power window switches have. All the switches have them, but Ford never used the feature.

How did you activate the heat button green locator light?

The plugs are different but I'm sure you can wire it up.
