For a 2018 F350 CC long bed looking for wheel well to wheel well set so I can get into back bed but want a set that sticks out past the side of the truck. I have seen a few trucks with them and would like to know if they stick out past the truck, as I want to protect the sides from idiots that ding vehicles with their doors. Thanks in advance.

I think there is an extended OEM step that provides a step to the front of the bed. I would say it sticks out past the body but not sure how much since I don't have them.

You might know this already, because of the shape of many doors now days, particularly rear doors, unless you have a giant lift, no step will stop all door dings from those mindless idiots.

The factory 6" boards stick out far enough to be useable for accessing the bed. I don't think they will help all that much for dings with the way the doors are shaped these days. Most are curved with the center sticking out the farthest which will hit before the bottom contacts the boards.

Have the factory short boards but need longer ones so I am looking to get info befor e ordering aftermarket. I was hoping to hear from those who have some if they could tell me instead of calling each manufacture. My tuck sits very high stock, almost as high as my lifted one.
