I see a lot of threads talking about tint jobs but without the cost info. Would you guys mind mentioning what brand and model tint you used, how many windows were done, and the cost? Im near the Charlotte, NC area for reference.
Based on the area shops, my choices would be Xpel HP 35% front 2 windows and Xpel XR 70% windshield
Formulaone Comfort 30% front 2 windows and Stratos 70% windshield
Also, I got a quote from a local shop and he wanted $300 for
2 Front Windows Xpel Prime CS 35% (they only have CS, XR, and XR Plus)
Front Windshield Xpel Prime XR 70%
That price seems a little off especially considering the fronts are CS which according to Xpel's website is the basic stuff (no offense to those that might have it).
Again, just post what you got so I can use as a reference for when I get more quotes. Thank you and have a great day.

I spent $750.00 to have my rear widow and rear doors done in C5, front doors in C20, and my entire front windshield done in C50 and the brand of tint that I chose to use is Huper Optik Ceramic.
Many times the higher prices of some tint jobs has to do with the quality of the product itself.
I just had the 2 front door glass done with Llumar CTX25, cost $175. I'm actually disappointed and trying to figure out what to do. It has a green hue that I dont care for. I was told it doesn't look that way before being applied and that it's taking on the green color in the glass.

I hear you. Based on your price, the $300 quote for the my three windows might be acceptable if it was with XR or XR PLus (Xpel's top of the line ceramic tint).

That sucks. Is the green hue looking at the tint during daytime or nighttime? My mom's Lexus has 3M color stable? (not sure of the model, the 3M placard has the words color stable on it) and at night time, you see a green hue if you look out the window to watch your sidemirror. It definitely trips you out when first looking and you're like whys it green.

Keep in mind that all window tint is only made by a handful of companies and they sell it to other companies who put their name on it.
Also, these same companies keep their best products under their name or the parent companies name so not all ceramic tint is created equal.

I believe 3M‘s top of the line tint is their Crystalline product.

Day and night, I posted a photo from the other morning in my tint thread. I have a basic 3M film on my Toyota, it's been on there for something like 14 years and the color looks great imo, more of just a nice gray, day and night. I was hoping for the same but in a better quality ceramic film, unfortunately that wasnt the case. I would like to see photos from others with tint, the same kind or different, from the inside out to compare.
