I have a 2011 f250 Lariat. First time I hooked up my rv to the 7 pin connector. Nothing works. The truck won’t even recognize the trailer. No lights or brakes or anything. I have checked some fuses but I don’t have my manual and everything on the interwebs has poor diagrams. Can anyone help me out? I’m sure it’s a stupid fuse, but I can’t find it.
Thank you. It’s helpful for sure. Seems all the fuses are good. I don’t know what the deal is. Unless it’s a busted wire or something. Time to get my voltmeter.

If you follow the wires off your 7 pin plug, there will be a Ford factory plug coming off the main wire harness in the back underneath. Pull that plug apart and make sure it is clean and not corroded with green nasty stuff. I like to use dielectric grease on plug connections and the rear light bulbs and sockets.
So....what happened here? I have 2, 7 pin adapters. One for bumper pull (stock) and one for fifth wheel (in bed of truck and not stock). Both have worked for years. Last night I replaced the 7-pin adapter on my boat trailer. While it was not an identical adapter, I assumed the numbers (1 - 6) with center could be used to re-wire in-line with the numbers. Well, after re-wiring and then plugging to check, nothing worked! Then I tried my fifth wheel to see if it worked. Tried in both connections (bumper and bed of truck) and nothing worked.
Checked all fuses per the manual. No blown fuses for any of them having anything to do with "trailer". Probably 6 or so under the hood and 3 in the passenger foot area. I couldn't check any relays. Didn't know how.
I have a trip to the beach coming so I'm going to have to take it in but was hoping for an easy fix??

Has this truck ever towed before?
Not sure on your year.........but some of the Ford trucks had fuses that had to be installed under hood......for towing

I’m sure it has. When I got it, it already had the hitch and plugs for towing. I think I found the issue. I will update once I can see what I’m doing better.
