thats the msrp. The f150 lights are listed at 1620 but the normal price at TRS is 1350. The 17+ Super duty is similiar, msrp of 1920 and TRS has them for 1600. so maybe the 11-16 will have a retail price of 1000-1075. so if they do their usual Black Friday sale of 20-25% off, might be able to get these for 750-800.
They did get back to me after I posted yesterday. They told me "no notification list" to follow them on social media as that's where they make product announcements. I'm an old dude and don't do any of that stuff so if there is someone monitoring this thread that can follow them and then post here when they become available I for one would surely appreciate it.
On another note, the advertisement which shows these things in some cases the lenses look "smoked". In others they look clear. Does anyone know if the ones they make for the other model trucks come in both smoked and clear? I'm not a fan of the smoked look.
i dont believe they are smoked. i think that look is due to the all black interior on the lights. i get email updates from TRS for new products so i will be watching for these.
so stage3 motorsports has added these to their website for 1380. it does say 0 in stock and to call for availability. was hoping for a little bit lower price point like 1200 so with a sale the price would be grand or less.
Akley, you have a link? I searched the site and couldn't find anything for the 11 - 13. The link you posted in post 1 no longer displays the lights. I hope they didn't give up on these
I had to search "Morimoto" to find these on Stage 3's site so here's the link. I believe there are more photos than on Morimoto's site from what I remember.
I sent an email to Morimoto asking about replacing the individual LED housings if after 5 years, one dies. I'll let this thread know what they say. I wonder if they did a life test to see how long they last.
So apparently they can't be replaced if they go out past the 5 years. I think I'm gonna wait until someone else drops the big bucks and see how they will last.
As this thread is about aftermarket LED solutions, here is the upgrade I want to make to my fog lights:
good longevity as in , they last 5 years and 1 month.
I think five years is a decent warranty but to not have the option of replacing an LED module after spending that kind of money and them claiming OEM quality construction is crazy. Time will tell on the quality but it doesn't look too good in that thread just linked here.
Thanks for posting that. Very informative indeed. The KC HiLites have a 23 year warranty. Apparently they have WAY more confidence in their products than Morimoto, huh?
The only reason I want to buy those G34 fog lights is to supplement the headlights in the country side where I live on unlit back roads. So I'll live with my stock headlights and the G34 driving lights once I get them.
