Holy Crap! Had all three of our vehicles detailed yesterday and the truck really came out great. I have to ask the guy what he used on the rubber window seals because it looks new. I have tried everything on them and they just stayed 'brown'. Two men worked on the three vehicles (mini-van, CUV and truck) for four hours and they really look like it inside and out.
Pictures, I know, but guess what - because I took this drastic measure for the first time in my life, it commenced to storm and rain today. But they'll still look the same after it dries so maybe then I can at least show the truck.
ETA: Couldn't show a pic because of a computer problem that finally is resolved. The truck is in the same place it was in 2007 when I took the avatar picture. Notice how everything has grown up around there, and I've had several trees already cut down.
There are tons of chemicals out there today that restore those parts pretty well. They just have to be maintained. Pics would be nice. I have watched some detailing videos on youtube and there is one guy who I believe lives in the UK who is very popular that shows a lot of how to's and describes what he uses. However, for my Montana truck, I detail when I can. If I still lived in CA, the truck would always look clean and rain would bead off no issues I used to just dust off the outside, quick wax, windows and rims/tires living there and wash every couple weeks, but here in Montana, I usually wash once a week and detail every couple weeks. Kinda pointless here.
