Cab Transplant
One of my trucks, a 1961 F-100 4x4, has a rotten cab. This cab would be cost and time prohibitive to try ro fix because of all the cancer in it. Long story short, a neighbor has this relatively clean 1960's Ford cab in his backyard, in his private salvage/junkyard. The cab's VIN# is F25YR862019. I'm sure someone can find the year of this cab using this VIN#. Knowing that this cab is newer than 1961, padded dashboard and other dissimilarities, would it still bolt on to my 1961 F-100 4x4 frame? The two cabs look identical on the outside, but there is a lot of dissimilarities on the inside.
