Here are a few pictures I swapped out the 65' 4.10 for a 79' 3.54. Overall the engine sounds better going 55-60 and maybe dropped the rpm's by 200 or so at speed. Time will tell if it makes a bigger difference or not.
I know that this pops up occasionally but I need help determining what speedo gear to go with. Speedometer about 5 mph off at 60 ( shows 55 at 60). Truck has a NP435 and 245 70 16 tires.
Any help would be appreciated. There were no problems with the 4.10 in case anyone is in need of one for a good price. before after before after

Your truck is a 1965 F250 w/a swapped Dana 60 3.54-1. What trans does it have?
It's the New Process 435 I believe to be original although the motor is a 68' Mercury 390 (confirmed by you from the tag) I doubt anything else was swapped in.

The only issue with the speedometer is the P-metric radials which were not available back then. Parts catalog only lists the bias ply tire sizes. So you'll have to convert the P-metrics to the bias size.
