"Wine edition"? What I downloaded was from here:

Download FORScan

FORScan version 2.3.14 beta for Windows - free

Then activated Extended using the forum instructions.

What is your truck? I'm hearing various things about trucks with and without digital odometer. Mine is a '01 with analog (roller number) odometer.

Looks like you downloaded the correct version. Wonder why your view vs mine is different?

I know The Brad has an analog odometer vs mine being digital so that should not be the issue.

Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling? Ill send an email to Forscan and see if they have any suggestions.

I did. In fact, I uninstalled .14 and installed the February .13 to see if that made a difference; it did not. Then I re-downloaded and installed .14, same.

Edit: started a thread in config forum on ForScan, I'll see if I get a good response.

FANTASTIC update. With the help of Aaron (akcooper9) and ForScan support, it turned out to be "An Excursion Thing". Aaron worked with them to obtain a program update, and it resolved it for me. I cannot believe how quickly they responded and turned this around, fewer than 24 hours; I will be donating to their cause and buying the Extended when that is available. I presume this change will be in the next beta update.

One side note: as expected, you cannot set revs/mi to less than 600 on our older trucks; anything less than that results in an error. However, as best I can tell there's nothing detrimental to setting the Ring Tone Size to a larger number to get effectively smaller revs/mi values (e.g., 600 revs/mi and 113 tone ring size = 594.7).

Thanks, Aaron!

Turns out I didn't need it; the number that got me spot-on with the Michelin 275/65-20s was 610!

What hardware are you using for connecting? I'd like to use my iPad Mini, already have a center console mount for it.

It won't work for 590, 600 was the lowest I can get.
